Thomas Richter advises national and international clients on all corporate matters including corporate litigation, corporate compliance and capital markets law. Furthermore, he advises companies on complex corporate transactions and restructuring projects.

He has many years of experience in advising national and international clients on corporate and capital markets law issues. Thomas assists in questions of liability of directors and officers, at general or other shareholder meetings, in questions of transformation law and in the context of national and international M&A transactions. He supports listed corporates in particular in questions of insider compliance and ad-hoc reporting obligations. Thomas is also specialized in assisting clients in complex, cross-border shareholder disputes.

After studying law at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena, Thomas earned his doctorate with a thesis on challenges of European merger control. During his legal clerkship, he worked inter alia for the World Bank in Washington, D.C., USA. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Thomas gained further experience as an attorney in a global law firm in Munich.

Thomas regularly publishes on issues of German and European stock corporation and limited liability company law.
