A Partner in Hogan Lovells' leading Real Estate Disputes Team, Paul Tonkin focuses on development disputes. He guides clients through the contentious aspects of large development schemes and has extensive experience of obtaining vacant possession of development sites, often in the most time-pressured and sensitive of situations. Paul is also one of very few lawyers who fully understand the complex area of rights of light and is regularly instructed to advise on rights of light issues on high profile development schemes in central London and beyond.
Paul is also recognized for his broad knowledge in rent review and is regularly approached by both landlords and occupiers to advise on complex rent reviews. He is a member of ARBRIX and has been described as "best in class" for rent review.
