Having started her practice as a real estate transactional associate in 2007, Julia Heyn now brings her pragmatic, user-friendly and client-focused approach to the arena of knowledge management. In her role as a senior knowledge lawyer in the London Knowledge team, Julia contributes to a range of key strategic projects and initiatives, including the roll out of the new Hogan Lovells knowledge platform.
Julia trained with the firm and her experience and understanding of client's priorities and objectives, combined with her non-confrontational style, enables her to bring a valued perspective to global knowledge management and innovation projects, demonstrating the value of knowledge management in maintaining a culture of high quality, commercial legal advice and focusing on ways to use knowledge to add value to client relationships.
Prior to moving into the Knowledge team, Julia transitioned from fee earning and spent a year as a knowledge lawyer in the London real estate team, helping provide answers and legal support for lawyers, as well as contributing to training, business development initiatives, and editing and writing content.
