As an associate at Hogan Lovells' Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation practice in Madrid, Alfredo advises on a full range of matters under European Union Law. He has broad experience in multi-jurisdictional coordination and merger control filings before the European Commission and the Spanish Competition Authority. He has also advised several multinational and local companies in relation to collusive behaviour among competitors (including assistance during dawn-raids) and vertical agreements under both European Union and Spanish Competition Law.

Alfredo also has substantial experience in litigation before Spanish and European courts (including in the private application of Antitrust rules). Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Alfredo was an associate at the Madrid office of a leading international law firm, and a 'bluebook' trainee at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission in Brussels. Alfredo holds a LLM in European Union Law (Distinction) from King’s College London. He is also the author of numerous legal publications. Alfredo speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian.
